Jess believes in the idea of a servant leader who is concerned more with how to help others than oneself.
Improving the lives of all residents is the only true role of any level of government.
Improving the lives of all residents is the only true role of any level of government.
Advocating for Organized LaborAs a member and leader with AFSCME Local 2763, Jess is well aware of the issues facing Labor Unions, and will provide steady leadership and support for the hardworking men and women of Berks County.

Protect our Public services and institutionsPrivatization of public institutions is NOT the answer. If Berks Heim or Berks County Prison are privatized, both job security and quality of care will immediately suffer.
|
Environmental StewardshipJess believes we are borrowing Berks County's natural resources from future generations, and that we must remain committed to maintaining the cleanest soil, water, and air as possible. This means exploring mass transit solutions for Berks County and ensuring the availability of recycling options for residents.
